View of the garden during the fall, from the corridor clozsed by shôji, paper windows

Zuishin-in is a quiet temple slightly removed from the city center.  Located in Yamashina, we go to visit it when we go to the nearby large and famous Daigo-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This temple is famous for its plum garden (to be visited in March) as well as its connection to the famous Heian beauty and poetess Ono no Komachi.

For more detail about this temple, I invite you to visit this page I wrote a couple of years ago: https://mykyotomachiya.com/zuichin-in-temple/
