花街の環境 – The Kagai Environment

In this last room, we presented a few photos captured in the streets of the Kagai, the flower town or geisha district, the area where geiko and maiko are licensed to work in.

Maiko in full regalia on their way to their evening engagement or simply walking around together.

There are also a couple of photos made during photoshoots and a photo of a group of maiko on their way to the Shigyoshiki event in Kamishichiken.

A slideshow is continually displayed on a large screen TV to offer more visual of Kyoto geisha world.
